Personal Achievements and Accomplishments
"For more than twenty-five years I have collaborated with Dr. Michael Kasha, Director, Institute of Molecular Biophysics at Florida State University, pioneering an entirely new, scientific way of constructing classical guitars. This collaboration, which began in 1967, is still productive and invigorating. We have conducted over 400 experiments resulting in approximately seventy innovative design improvements to the classical guitar."

"On eighteen separate occasions I met with Maestro Andrés Segovia; twice for week-long events. He auditioned new instruments on six occasions for critique and analysis." To Richard Schneider, in whose hands is the future of the guitar.
