Calton custom cases. . .

CALTON custom fitted fibreglass instrument cases are rugged, well balanced and attractive hard shelled cases with interiors tailored to each instrument. Each half of every case is hand moulded in a single piece, using pigmented resin. This produces a case with no seams to separate and colour that is integral to the fibreglass. All hardware is high quality plated steel, attached to the case with steel rivets and reinforcing plates. Careful attention is paid to the placement of the leather handle in order to provide the optimum in comfort and balance.

"The last case you'll ever need."

A PVC strip completely edges both top and bottom halves of the case. This strip is strong, yet flexible and combined with the natural water repellent qualities of fibreglass, provides an almost perfect seal against the elements. The interiors of the cases are hand crafted from high quality foam padding, using up to 15 measurements and a template of the instrument. All interior surfaces are finished in imported crushed velour. The pickbox is topped with a large foam pad that cushions the neck, and the neck is further protected with a padded guide that restricts side-to-side movement.
Calton cases are offered in two models: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Calton Case features a charcoal grey exterior with a red interior, one locking catch and a personalized name plate. While the standard Calton Case is stronger than conventional cases, the Deluxe Calton Case features an extra layer of fibreglass for added strength, locks on all catches, a shoulder strap, a personalized name plate and your choice of exterior and interior colours from those available.
