The ACOUSTIC PERFORMER is a 2 1/2" channel speaker/amplifier. This unique format allows separate and simutaneous control of three inputs. The first channel allows the musician to control the volume and tone of both an unbalanced mini-mic and a balanced vocal mic. The second channel controls volume level and tone for any pickup. The ACOUSTIC PERFORMER is expected to become the professional performer's system of choice when seeking to combine the sound quality of a studio monitor with the sound volume and durability required for musical instrument amplification. While designed specifically for sound reinforcement of acousitc guitars, it can also be used for piano or vocals because of its wide frequency response and natural sound.Incorporated in the ACOUSTIC PERFORMER is a 230 watt RMS MOSFET amplifier, driving an 8-inch polypropylene cone driver and a separate 50 watt RMS amplifier driving a 1-inch fabric dome tweeter. In addition, it has separate parallel effects loops for the microphone, transducer and master outputs. Digital reverb is included and may be assigned to either the transducer or microphone channel or both. There is even a notch filter to control acoustic feedback. Also available is an auxiliary slave, the Acoustic Monitor Pro is essentially the same as the master but with only one volume control.
Measuring only 14 inches across by 17 inches high by 5 1/2 inches deep and weighing less than 30 lbs., the Acoustic Performer is claimed to be the most compact performance sound system available today.
